There are lots of designers, freelancers and online job shops that offer cheap and ineffective websites  - that is not what we do.

Detati has a team of small business experts to help create a site that works to reach your busin

President's Message

What are you choosing to OWN in 2019? It's the theme of our Propel event (April 28-30 - sign up today) and such an appropriate question for our ambitious women entrepreneurs! One thing I'm especially proud of NAWBO CA for owning via sponsorship in 2018 is SB 826 - which PASSED - and accelerates the number of qualified women on boards of directors beginning this year. Betsy Berkhemier-Crediare has been featured in a number of articles regarding this important step for publicly held BODs in California. And we won't be surprised when other NAWBO chapters own this progressive step within their states. Maybe 2019 is when you own your quest to be a BOD member! Get your name out there.

Maybe it's time to own a big business expansion. Or launch a new product! Our partnership with SheAngels Pitchfest, to be held later in 2019, is the perfect place to get in front of people who can help you make that happen! It's a shark tank for women entrepreneurs! Sign up to pitch by January 31!

Or perhaps it's your year to own being a more active member of your NAWBO Chapter. You know you receive what you put in. Jump onto a committee! It's the best way to deepen relationships. Set a goal to attend six events in a row. Be engaged and you and your peers will all prosper.

Whatever you aim for in 2019, be all in. Own it. Dream big. And make it happen.
