As we wrap up a busy season, let's come together to support The Tobermory Meeting Place and celebrate our vibrant community. Entry is by donation, with all proceeds benefiting The Meeting Place's upcoming project!!


Savour a delicious feast featuring a full pig roasted by Pit Master Jose Andino 🍖, complemented by a variety of sides and desserts 🥗🍰. Bring your favourite dish for the Community Pot Luck Table 🍲 and enjoy takeout, available on a first-come, first-served basis until the food runs out. The event is fully licensed, featuring a Beer Garden 🍺, and promises live music 🎵 with performers to be announced soon. We’re also launching our OPEN MIC NIGHT! 🎤 Contact The Meeting Place to sign up. DJ Max, The Man, The Myth, The Legend Himself 🎧, will be providing the beats. Don't miss out on amazing prizes 🎁 and a 50/50 draw 🎟️.


We’ll have picnic tables 🪑 set up, but feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets.

All are welcome—let’s make this a night to remember! 🐷✨

Our fundraiser will go towards supporting a number of local health solutions both at the Family Health Team and for the Golden Dawn Senior Citizen Home. We will also be supporting our local Fire Department to purchase specialty firefighting boots necessary for our cold winters!


Our $5.00, 50/50 tickets will be fundraising to bring an IT Digital Enrichment Package to the Golden Dawn Senior Citizen Home. The IT Digital Life Enrichment Package allows their residents to:

- Make Zoom calls to families

- Virtual exercise & range of motion classes

- Therapy for residents with behavioural disorders & dementia

- Resident Life Enrichment opportunities


You could win $2500 this year if we sell all of our 50/50 tickets!


Event Tickets and 50/50 tickets will also be available at Peacocks Foodland from 10am until 2pm August 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th. You can also reach out to our THSA members to get your tickets!

Tobermory Pickleball Club Welcomes New Members!

We're a member-run, non-profit club playing at the Tobermory Community Centre (7420 Highway 6, Tobermory ON).


We welcome members of all abilities, from beginner to advanced. Our aim is to deliver fun, fair, and safe recreational and competitive programs for youth, and adults. We will also offer guidance and basic coaching to new players and first-time drop-ins.

Summer Hours

(May 1 - October 31 weather permitting)

Monday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Tuesday: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Wednesday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Thursday: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Sunday: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Bruce County Public Library's Book Mobile


Patrons can expect a collection of books, DVDs, and educational materials, including tech kits. The Bookmobile is also outfitted with a free Wi-Fi hub. The Bookmobile staff are dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space and assisting patrons of all ages

Community Bulletin Board

The Municipality's annual Community Grants Program is designed to provide limited funding for projects that enhance and enrich the community. Council makes all funding decisions based on local needs and priorities in keeping with Council's approved budget, strategic goals and objectives. 


The 2024 deadline for submissions is October 31st, 2024 at 4:30pm. All applications must be submitted via the online application.

Municipal Updates

Office Closure


The Municipal Office will be closed on Monday, September 2nd, 2024 in observation of the Labour Day Holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.


A dropbox is located at the front of the building for your convenience.


Landfill hours and Curbside Waste Collection schedules will not be impacted.

Property Tax 2024 Payment Due Dates!


Mark your calendars! Interim taxes are due:


September 30, 2024

Taxes can be played via online banking by using "Northern Bruce Peninsula Taxes" as the payee and your roll number as the account. You can mail or drop off cheques at the Municipal Office. In-person payments of cash, debit and cheque are also accepted.
