The 69th Clemson Brick Forum, presented by the National Brick Research Center (NBRC) and by the Brick Education & Research Foundation, is in the history books and we are already planning for the 70th Clemson Brick Forum!
The 69th Clemson Brick Forum was held October 2nd and 3rd, 2023 at the Anderson Civic Center, Anderson, SC with close to 400 people in attendance. Each year attendance is growing back toward its pre-pandemic level, and we are optimistic we will see continued growth for the 70th Clemson Brick Forum.
Forty Technical Presentations were made over the two days of the 69th Clemson Brick Forum. These informative talks were related to different brick industry topics including Sustainability, Innovations, Wall Systems, Green House Gas Emissions, New Plants, Plant Upgrades, Best Practices, and Health & Safety. We are working to get these presentations uploaded to the NBRC website and we will send members an email announcing when that is complete.
Over 50 sponsors/vendors of various businesses related to brick manufacturing hosted booths and exhibited at the event. These sponsors were from central and western Europe, Canada, and USA. Over the two days of the Forum, these vendors met with customers and provided them with information and demonstrations about their brick industry products. Many provided hospitality opportunities, games, and prize giveaways as well. New this year was the much-enjoyed Vitreus Wine Hour. The traditional J. C. Steele cookout reception and the steak cookout were held the final night of the forum with perfect weather, and with great food and beverages!
SAVE THE DATE! The next Clemson Brick Forum, its 70th, will be held September 30th – October 1st, 2024. Forum planning is ongoing, and we will continue to share details of the event both via our website, www.brickandtile.org (Events Tab, Forum 2024), and via our NBRC Notes monthly emails.
