NBS Hosts Four Sets of Business Development Meetings Throughout the Month of June
Throughout the month of June, NBS hosted four sets of Business Development Meetings (BDMs) to prepare for our upcoming Fall Semi-Annual Market in August. For these BDMs, our merchandising team brings in Committee Members to meet with select Vendor Partners to negotiate Programs, Show Specials, SMUs, and more to be presented to the entire Membership at the upcoming Market.

NBS' Marty Plazo hosted our first set of BDMs for the Fishing and Hunting categories with Committee Members Ken Vandervest (D&R Sports) and Jon Fontius (Dunham's Sports). Following that, NBS' Ken Chandley hosted Camping and Watersports BDMs with Committee Member Rob Glover (Mahoney's).

After a short hiatus, we went back into full swing with two sets of BDMs held simultaneously. NBS' Chris Shadowens hosted Firearms BDMs with Committee Members Todd Vance (Vance Outdoors), Jay Wallace (Adventure Outdoors), and Hunter Simmons (Simmons' Sporting Goods). During that same time, NBS' Luke Cotton hosted Shooting Accessories BDMs with Committee Members Hunter Simmons (Simmons' Sporting Goods), Chikki Shajwani (Molly's Place), and Marcus Batty (Basin Sports).

We want to thank all our Members and Vendor Partners who participated in our BDMs and we look forward to seeing all of you IN-PERSON in August!
