Dear NC Licensed Landscape Architects & Firms

We know that you are all anxiously awaiting news regarding the status of the 2023-2024 license renewal process! We're anxious too, and excited!

The building of the new system is going well and we fully expect to launch the first week in July. You will receive an email with instructions for setting up your account and renewing your license(s) for the 2023-2024 license year.

• All individual and corporate licenses are valid through August 15, 2023
• You should obtain your CE by June 30, 2023
• The late fee will be charged beginning August 16, 2023

The Board has extended the deadline date for license renewal to August 15, 2023. The date for which the late fee will be imposed is August 16, 2023. Licensees should still obtain CE by June 30, 2023.

At this time, we ask that you please DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RENEW YOUR LICENSE IN CERTEMY, even if the option is available. If you have renewed your license for the 2023-2024 year, please SEND AN EMAIL to renewal@ncbola.org, if you haven't already notified us. We are keeping detailed records of what has transpired regarding 2023-2024 license renewals within Certemy.

CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION

• TO CHECK APPROVED CE ACTIVITIES, go to the CE page of the Board website, click on the Approved CE Database in the sidebar.
• TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AN ACTIVITY, go to the CE page of the Board website, click on the CE Activity Application in the sidebar.

The delayed launch of the new system allows for one more opportunity to get CE approved prior to the renewal deadline. The Continuing Education Advisory Committee (CEAC) will meet on July 14, 2023. The DEADLINE to make application for CE to be reviewed at that meeting is July 5, 2023. The Board will meet on July 26, 2023 to review and approve the report of the CEAC.
