Tropical Storm Isaias Notice - Update #3
North Carolina Ports continues to monitor Tropical Storm Isaias. The Port of Wilmington and the Port of Morehead City anticipate
moving to Port Condition Yankee at 2000 tonight (Sunday, August 2)
and Port Condition Zulu at 1100 Monday, August 3.
Based on the latest track of Isaias and the anticipated arrival of tropical storm winds, cargo operations for Monday, August 3 at the Ports of Wilmington and Morehead City are as follows:
Port of Wilmington Operations - Monday, August 3
- Container Gate will be open from 0700 until 1200 to receive loads and empties. No empties will be delivered, loaded containers only.
- General Cargo Gate will be closed to all commercial activity.
Port of Morehead City Operations - Monday, August 3
- Port closed to all commercial activity.
Tenants will have access to the Ports of Wilmington and Morehead City until 1700 Monday.
A decision regarding port operations for Tuesday, August 4 will be issued Monday afternoon based on the latest forecast.
