NEW FROM USA GYMNASTICS NATIONAL MINUTES

• Level 4 athlete may skip Level 5 and may move into Level 6 if she achieves a score of 36.00AA in 2 sanctioned competitions. Athletes may use scores from the 2022-2023 season as well as the upcoming season.
• Vault - Coaches may tell judges the Vault name or number at all competitions except if there is a 4-judge panel. (The number would then need to be visably displayed.)
• Level 5 Uneven Bars - There are 2 options for the bar dismount: Flyaway OR Level 4 dismount. If the athlete does Level 4 dismount the routine will have a 9.5 start value.
• Levels 1,2,& 3 may use an alternate springboard (trampoline-type).
• Event Specialists - Athletes do NOT need to designate if they are an IES or AA gymnast prior to the State Meet at Level 9 and Level 10. The athlete may decide at the competition if she wishes to compete AA or 1-3 events as a specialist.
