Hi Friends & Families,

We are so excited to get started on this year’s NCA Auction and Dinner, our biggest fundraiser of the year.  Several people have been planning for a couple of months and now it is time to tap into our most valuable resource, YOU.

We need many volunteers, our foot soldiers and generals, to be successful. This event will be well attended by our school staff and families, outstanding community members, and prominent business leaders. We at NCA know our school is a special place and want it to shine brightly.

We need help in all areas and everyone can contribute; mailings, contacting donors, contacting sponsors, requesting donations, providing contacts for sponsor requests, researching caterers, tracking donations and inventory, classroom auction projects, learning the auction software, selling tickets, assisting with publicity, working the auction, decorating, setting up, tearing down, etc... There are so many positions available.

We sincerely want and need everyone to participate.  Please contact Tawnja McDowell 817-988-4003 or [email protected] and let us know where your heart leads you.

Students in Grades 3-8 competed in the ACSI Math Olympics District competition that was held at NCA in October and November. Of the participants, 14 students qualified for the Area competition.

The ACSI Math Olympics Area competition will be held on Friday, February 15 th at St. Paul’s Preparatory Academy in Arlington. More information will be sent to parents of qualifiers.

Congratulations to the following qualifiers:
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We need 6 volunteers to help with the ACSI Math Olympics Area competition that will be held on Friday, February 15th at St. Paul’s Preparatory Academy in Arlington.
No experience is necessary! Contact Dan Sommers at [email protected] for more information or to volunteer.

Faith@Home News
This month’s newsletter (click here)  is focused on sharing with your children the importance of their God given purpose. Learning, understanding and believing that their identity in Christ is one of the most important things you can share with your children. Why not start off the new year with this powerful truth!

You are invited to our second Faith@Home night on Thursday, January 31st at 6:00pm . We will be meeting in room #115 on the far west end of the building. Come for hands-on ideas and resources you can put to work in your home. Kids are welcome to attend and participate with their parents. We keep it short so you can get home quickly. :)
