March 27, 2026

Dear NCA Families,

This week, I had the honor of watching our 12th grade scholars delivering their Senior Thesis Speeches to other scholars, staff and invited guests. These presentations demonstrate the culmination of the knowledge acquired by seniors, from their time spent at NCA. It has been truly inspiring to watch each scholar defend their thesis, based on a topic or position taken from one of the many Great Books they have read during their studies. This process has also demonstrated our scholar's core virtues of Courage, Perseverance and Responsibility - modeled for other high school scholars. Congratulations to all of our senior thesis presenters, and thank you to all of our staff members that assisted as senior thesis advisors.

In addition, on Thursday evening, we held our College Counseling Information Night, for 8th - 10th grade families, walking them through the next few years of preparation to gain acceptance to universities of their choosing. We look forward to hosting these events each semester in the upcoming school year, providing resources to help families plan for their scholar's college future.

Celebrating the Senior Class of 2026!

Our next Senior Spotlight is with Gabrielle Garcia.

Gabrielle has studied at Naples Classical Academy for the past four years.

Her favorite novel from the NCA curriculum is "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoevsky.

The most important thing that she has learned while attending NCA is that excellence starts from within, and that we are the character we culminate.

The virtues that she has most cultivated while at NCA are Perseverance and Self-Government.

Beyond high school, she plans on going to college to study business, entrepreneurship, management, marketing, and culinary services. She also aspires to open up her own cafe after college.
