September 26, 2025

Greetings NCA Families,

We are excited to close out the month of September, and head into Fall and the month of October next week. This weekend, our girls volleyball team is traveling to the Jacksonville area for a weekend tournament – and we wish them the best of luck – Go Patriots!

Below, you will find some important updates for all families:

Student Government Elections – This Week

Congratulations to the new crop of officers for student government at Naples Classical Academy! The democratic process was alive and well all week - with student speeches and the election of officers. Our scholars communicated their platforms to all scholars in grades 6-12, and we look forward to assisting them in their new leadership roles.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

K-5th grade teachers are sending out registration links for the October 13-14 parent-teacher conferences. If you have any issue in accessing these conferences, please reach out to your scholar’s teacher, or grade level dean for assistance.

Conference scheduling will close on Friday, October 10th at 12:00 PM, so please do not delay in signing up for these conferences.

For KG-5th Grade Families: Parents and scholars are both invited to attend conferences.

For 6th – 12th Families: It is strongly encouraged that both parent/s and the scholar attend the conferences. Grade level signups are linked below.

FortifyFL

In accordance with Collier County Public Schools policy, and the State of Florida's Safe Schools program, NCA takes part in the FortifyFL app for all stakeholders. Please see the link below, to download the FortifyFL app – and help to keep our school community safe.

To download the application on your mobile device, please visit the site link below or conduct an app search on your mobile device for FortifyFL: getfortifyfl.com

Help Grow Our NCA Community!

We are excited to announce several new scholars have enrolled at NCA after attending our September 18th Open House event. We appreciate all of the current NCA families that referred new scholars to our school. As we are always looking to grow our community, if you have friends or family that are looking for a classical liberal arts education that trains the minds and improves the hearts of young people – please have them visit our school website and connect with our Registrar, Mrs. Abney: mabney@naplesclassical.org

We hope that your family enjoys the weekend, and we look forward to welcoming your family back to campus on Monday.

8-12th Grade Families

We thank our veterans for their sacrifices, courage, strength and dedication to keeping us safe. The scholars at NCA are excited to celebrate their service to this great country.  We would like to invite all veteran parents and grandparents who have served in The United States Armed Forces in wartime or peacetime to our campus on November 11th for a Veterans Day presentation.

If your child has a parent or grandparent who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces who would like to participate, please let them know that we will be sending out more information soon. We would be blessed to have all veterans stand and introduce themselves to our scholars. Thank you for your service.

NCA Bookstore

Did you know that our book fair is year round? Please continue to use this link for purchasing books for family and friends to benefit the children and help us grow the classroom libraries (and eventually a school library!) Proceeds from the purchases will go back to our school when you set up your account and link it to Naples Classical.

Our next in-school book fair is scheduled for December 2-9, 2025. Scholars and parents can see a large sampling of the books that are offered. There will be more details about this event to come as we get closer.

We will be in need of some amazing parent volunteers; if you want to help out with this event, and haven't become a CCPS approved volunteer yet, you can get started here today: https://naplesclassical.org/become-a-volunteer/

Sign-ups for volunteer opportunities for the book fair will be shared at a later date.
