NCALA Workforce Development Initiative
NCALA is excited to share a new initiative called Generation CARE (Connecting Assisted Living Roles, Education & Employment).

Since the formation of the NCALA Workforce Development Taskforce earlier this year, providers, agency representatives, and educators have been meeting regularly to identify existing training pathways and to connect the dots so that viable solutions can be found regarding direct care workforce shortages.

What is Generation CARE?
For Employers: A collaborative developed to connect senior living providers, workforce development agencies, educators, and technology with people who are searching for a rewarding career that makes a difference in the lives of others!

For Students: Are you a Boomer looking for a flexible part-time job? A Gen X’er making a career change? A Gen Y or Z looking for a fulfilling career path?
The Generation CARE Web page will be updated with student information and training resources soon!

Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with this new initiative. If you would like to be a part of the taskforce, please email karen@ncala.org.
