The NCBA extends profound condolences to Judge Esther Salas, United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the first Hispanic woman to serve as a federal judge in New Jersey, on the tragic death of her son Daniel Anderl, who was preparing to start his junior year at Catholic University of America in Washington in the fall and interested in pursuing a career in the legal field as his parents had.
We also send prayers for the swift and complete recovery of Judge Salas's husband, Mark Anderl, who is a criminal defense attorney at his law firm, Anderl & Oakley P.C.
