Mrs. Edwards first grade class learned about different types of bridges while reading "Bridges are to Cross" by Philemon Sturges. They later worked in groups to design, build, and test their own creations. 

The Shah family came in to teach  Mrs. Armstrong's first grade class about Diwali. All students were shown an interesting presentation, had a book read to them, made a Rangoli, and ate a delicious homemade treat!
