PARCC Test Results to be Reviewed at 9/25 Board Meeting

At the next board meeting, Tuesday, September 25th,  Dr. Freda will present the results of last year's PARCC testing. Specific areas that will be reviewed during this meeting include: 
  • District and grade level results
  • How individual test results are used to develop school level goals
  • Impact of evidence statement analysis on scope and sequence of curriculum
  • Determination of curricular strengths and challenges
  • Additional data sources that are used to differentiate instruction and/or modify curriculum
If you would like to learn more about the PARCC results and their impact on your student's education, please join us Tuesday, September 25th at 7:30pm in the Grandview cafeteria. 
Yankee Candle Fundraiser Begins

Gould School will begin their Yankee Candle fundraiser to benefit the 6th grade class activities. Please feel free to share the catalog that comes home with your child with family and friends. Orders and payment need to be submitted by Friday, October 5th to ensure delivery for the holidays. Checks can be made payable to Gould School Activity Account. If you have any questions or would like additional brochures, please contact Gould school at 973-712-4400. Thank you for your support!    
Gould 4th Grade Chorus Sings at 9/11 Ceremony

On Tuesday, September 11th, Gould's 4th Grade Chorus members performed the Star Spangled Banner at the 9/11 town hall ceremony where Mayor Alessi spoke about the significance of the day.
