Training Spotlight
Last month, the NCCAA's Training & Technical Assistance team hosted an HR Symposium, Motivational Interviewing Training, Poverty Simulation, virtual and online Board of Directors Training, as well as, monthly study sessions for a cohort of Certified Community Action Professionals (CCAP). We offer ongoing enrollment for web-based Head Start Family and Case Management Certifications.

More than 50 local community members came together last month and were able to speak with organizations in the Halifax county region to learn about health-related services. The NCCAA Community Health Fair was the first in a series of health events in the area.

The event hosted 11 vendors from the area that provided educational resources, HIV quick-testing, exercise instruction, domestic violence, mental health resources, and so much more.
