If you’ve been to a recent board meeting or the 2017 Golf Tournament, or if you’ve read an issue of NCCH Heartbeats, then you’ve probably noticed there’s more and bolder imagery in some of North Coast Community Home’s materials. That would be because there’s an additional someone helping communicate North Coast Community Homes' value and values through our marketing materials and other communication channels. That would be me, Jamie Van Doren. I thought I'd share a little about why I felt compelled to put my talents to work for NCCH.
My Mom, Candace, was born in 1953. By all accounts she was a brilliant child. My grandfather likes to brag that she was talking non-stop in full sentences by the time she was 18 months old. She was going to be a genius, he’ll tell you.
Sometime after my mom turned 2 years old she became very ill. Some in my family say she had Rheumatic Fever, others say Scarlet Fever. Whichever illness, her fever progressed and spiked one evening. She had been crying all day, and now she was completely unresponsive.
