North Coast Community Homes has been hard at work to make the strategic plan a reality.  Recently, the organization received over 1.2 million in funds to buy and renovate 4 homes in Lake County. This will create new community living opportunities for 16 people with Developmental Disabilities. Not only is it less expensive to have them move from an institutional setting, living as part of the larger community, it’s expected to improve their quality of life as well.

With this latest move, NCCH is expected to develop at least 7 homes, compared to the three to four per year they’ve done in the past.
