Attention all clergy and SPR chairs -- just a reminder that if you have not yet turned in the annual review(s) for the active pastor(s) in your church (who are appointed at 50% time or more), they are due in a week and a half. Find the form attached

UNDERSTANDING POVERTY IN THE NORTH COAST DISTRICT
Saturday, May 11, 9:00 a.m. - 12noon

The Poverty Simulation is an interactive experience that helps participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from month to month. It is a simulation, not a game. If you have previously participated in a poverty simulation, you are invited to attend as a volunteer (25 people needed).
This event is limited to the first 86 participants. The event is open to the entire Conference, so register now!
ANNUAL NORTH COAST DISTRICT LUNCHEON

We invite all Clergy, Local Lay Members, and District Members-at-Large to the North Coast District Luncheon Gathering at Annual Conference! Come to enjoy a FREE lunch*, socialize with friends, meet new people from other churches in the District, and take a break from the excitement of the AC meetings. It's not a fancy meal, but it should be a good time for one and all!
There is limited seating available, so we kindly request an RSVP for ALL planning to attend the lunch (this includes spouses and children). Please

NCD CAMPERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS
Do you have a child/youth at your church who is interested in attending camp this summer but might need financial assistance?
The District Missions Committee offers annual scholarships to campers.

application needs to be completed at least two weeks prior to the start of camp and sent in to the District Office with the signature of the church pastor included on the form.

On Saturday, June 29th
, at least 3,000 members of the Greater Cleveland faith community will join together at Public Square to symbolically
Stand In
for the nearly 3,000 homeless children in our city. The evening will be hosted by The City Mission, but city leaders, officials, and other crisis agencies will participate by offering practical ways to get involved in the solution.
A significant portion of the night will be devoted to corporate worship and prayer, lifting up these children and their families, seeking the Lord’s guidance. This event will boldly demonstrate to Cleveland the church’s unified commitment to stand in the gap and meet our city’s needs.

3. The Director of Music will invite, recruit and encourage more participants to join the Praise Team. Instrumentalists will also be encouraged to participate in the services.
4. The Director of Music will be responsible for selecting, reviewing, preparing and coordinating all the musical aspects for the weekly services to ensure the quality of the worship experience. The Director of Music is responsible for rehearsing and accompanying soloist when needed and finding someone to do so.
