CHARGE CONFERENCE INFO IS COMING
Yes, you read that correctly! As we are finishing up with our East Ohio Annual Conference, preparations are underway for Charge Conference Season in the North Coast District!

Clergy and SPR Chairs -- you can expect an email in the next week regarding the annual fall consultation schedule with the DS. Please be aware that consultations are starting as early as August 10, so keep an eye out in your inbox for the communication!

With charge conference season comes forms. Oh so many forms! Cabinet has modified a few of the forms and will be requiring the completion of more directed data. To keep all of our headaches to a minimum, Stephanie will be offering Forms Review sessions in August for church admins, SPR chairs, treasurers, etc.... anyone who has to help complete the omnibus, LCPA, LCPL, and/or Pastor's Compensation Report. Sessions will be offered both in ZOOM and in-person formats. A sign-up link will go out to churches after July 1. If you have questions in the meantime, please contact Stephanie at [email protected] or 216-441-4527 (leave a VM please).
NORTH COAST DISTRICT CAMPERSHIPS
As in past years, the North Coast District will be offering camp scholarships to students who would like to attend one of the UM camps and may be experiencing financial hardship. You can find the application HERE (or click on the application image). Applications must be signed by the church pastor and submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of camp. Scholarship payments will be sent directly to the camper's church for reimbursement.
North Coast District Confirmation Experience
Conversation and Planning Meeting
Wednesday, July 14 at 10 a.m. via ZOOM

If your congregation is interested in coming together for a joint confirmation faith formation experience, please join us for conversation and planning on Wednesday, July 14th at 10 a.m. via ZOOM. We have a growing number of churches that wish to give their youth a wider confirmation experience with youth and leaders from many different churches. If you have just a handful of students coming for confirmation, or even just ONE, imagine how much more fun and meaningful it would be to have a larger class in discussions and reflections. More perspectives, more diversity, more experiences in faith! Let's talk about how we can make this happen! For more information or questions, please contact Rev. Carrie Antczak at [email protected]
