West Gate Bank Opens 31st Nebraska
In School Savings Branch at Wysong Elementary
Understanding that early savings habits can change financial futures, NCEE’s Lincoln Center for Economic Education partnered with Wysong elementary school to establish the 31 st Nebraska In School Savings Program. Student tellers work at the branch of West Gate Bank located in the main entry area at Wysong. The branch is open weekly to accept student deposits. The more students save the bigger incentive prize they earn.

The grand opening ribbon cutting was held on November 22. Several community leaders attended to hear congratulatory remarks from West Gate Bank President, Carl Sjulin and UNL College of Business Dean, Kathy Farrell.
