Getting Ready for "Day One"

Day One” of a school year is a new beginning. Students have new teachers and new subjects; teachers have new students and new courses; principals have new students and new staff; and school boards introduce new goals and programs. So while most people think of summer as a time when schools are on vacation, for Superintendents, however, summer is a uniquely busy and stressful time.
