NCFlex Train The Trainer
The NCFlex annual Train the Trainer event is an opportunity for our team to connect with employee benefits representatives, and go over changes and reminders for the upcoming plan year.

This September, we will have four virtual and three in-person trainings across North Carolina (Raleigh, Rocky Mount and Asheville). For in-person, both University and Non-University HBRs may attend. For virtual, sessions are separated by University and Non-University. 

Topics will include:
  • Accident plan changes
  • The new Critical Illness plan
  • Rates changes
  • Disability plan changes (Non-University only)
  • FSA Reminders

2022 Guides Ordering Deadline - Aug. 31

If you are interested in ordering 2022 guides, please do so by the close of business on August 31. You can order HERE. You can also use this site to view past orders to plan for 2023 orders. You'll find the new link for 2023 guides in the section below.
2023 NCFlex Enrollment Guides
The NCFlex 2023 Enrollment Guides are now available online. There are two versions of the Enrollment Guide, one for non-universities and one for universities*. Please share this new guide with your employees. The Spanish version will be available soon.

You can place an order for the 2023 Enrollment Guides here. Please note:
  • You will need to register upon entering the site, since this is a different platform from previous years. The site will save your order details for the future.
  • To create an account, you will need to use the password NCFLEX. 
  • Once you are logged in, click "Print Collateral" and choose the guide you would like to order.
  • Enrollment Guides are currently being printed and should ship in early September.

In the past, benefit representatives have ordered the wrong guides (University for Non-University employees and vice versa).

Please note that someone will need to be in the office at the time of delivery to receive the Enrollment Guides. Use a physical address, not a PO Box or MSC number. Consider shipping to your home address if needed.
 
The longer version of the 2023 Benefits Guide is not yet available but will be soon. This guide is printed in a smaller quantity than the Enrollment Guide and is intended for HBR/UBA use when assisting employees.

NOTE: it says "Benefits Guide" on the front, but this is the shorter version which we consider an Enrollment Guide and is intended for University employees.
*The University guide DOES NOT include the Voluntary Disability Plan details. Also, this guide notes the transition for the AD&D and Group Term Life plans from NCFlex to the University specific plans for 2023 and mentions the two different enrollment systems.
