An Important Message for NC Health Benefit Representatives
April 2022
Remind Employees of Travel Benefits
As we approach the summer travel season, please remind your employees of the free benefits they may be eligible for. If an employee has one of the NCFlex AD&D plans, Core or Voluntary, the employee and their dependents also have access to Voya Travel Assistance (at no additional cost) when traveling more than 100 miles from home.

They can get pre-trip information, emergency personal services, medical assistance services and emergency transportation services.

Share the Travel Assist flyer with your employees who may be traveling. It includes a wallet-sized resource that can be printed and saved for easy access

If the employee participates with NCFlex MetLife, you can also share the Dental Travel Assist information which is helpful in a dental emergency when out of the country.
