Upcoming HBR Training for New Staff

If you or any of your staff are new to NCFlex benefits, or would like a refresher on the basics, we are offering our the New HBR Training again.

This New HBR Training is an introduction to NCFlex. The first half of the day focuses on the NCFlex products (Benefit Overview) and the second half will focus on the NCFlex Administration Manual.

Sign up by clicking one of the links below. Details will follow regarding how to join these web-based sessions. Be sure to sign up for both the Benefit Overview and Admin Manual Training, as they are separated out into different events. This training is being offered on two different days and you can choose to attend both sessions in one day or each session on a different day.
Sensible Savings Sessions 2019

These sessions are free to state employees and provide information on NCFlex benefits, Prudential plans, TSERS Retirement plans, and services offered by SECU. The sessions are beneficial to new employees of the state, those ready for retirement, and anyone in between.

Group Term Life Claim Forms

The Voya Group Term Life claim forms (including death claim form, waiver of premium form, and continuation request form) have been removed from the Group Term Life section of the NCFlex website because they are out of date. Employees, beneficiaries, and HBRs should contact LifeHelp for assistance with these types of claims or inquiries as they sometimes require additional material. LifeHelp will provide employees with information on where they may obtain additional documentation.

If you have these claim forms printed for quick access, please discard them as they are no longer accepted. For assistance, contact LifeHelp by phone at 1-877-464-5111 or email at [email protected] .
