An Important Message for NCFlex Participants

NCFlex Open Enrollment - Oct. 15 - 31
NCFlex combines with the State Health Plan for Open Enrollment in October (15 - 31) for the 2021 plan year.

Changes and reminders for 2021:
  • Dental rates reduced
  • To continue contributions into the FSA plans, re-enroll. Your contributions do not automatically rollover.
  • The HCFSA new limit is $2,750 and the new carry forward amount is $550. (You do not have to re-enroll into the HCFSA to keep your carry forward amount)
  • SSNs will be required for dependents being added to NCFlex plans
  • No EOI (medical questions) for the Cancer plan

As an eligible NCFlex member, you should receive the Open Enrollment Mailer at your home address shortly before enrollment begins.

Online Benefits Meetings

During enrollment, you can attend an online benefits meeting through Webex from your computer, mobile phone or tablet. Register for a meeting by visiting NCFlex Employee Sessions web page. Details on how to join will be emailed to you closer to time of the event.

Meeting dates and times:

  • Friday, Oct. 16, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. 
  • Saturday, Oct.17, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 20, 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 22, 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 26, 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 28, 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. 

Employees with Questions?
Once you are in the meeting, use the "Chat" box to post your questions. A benefits representative will answer questions as they are posted. If you are unable to access the Webex, you can call in and listen, then chat your questions through email to [email protected] .
