Dear North Carolina State Convention Delegate,
As county and district convention season has recently wrapped up, I want to thank you for your willingness to attend your local events in an effort to make a difference in our great state. Your commitment to conservative Republican activism will be the only way we can regain the supermajority at the NCGA and make other immediate, massively important strides to right the ship here at home. So I am grateful to you for that.
If we haven’t already met, I want to offer you the opportunity to reach out to our campaign with questions and concerns you may have regarding the direction of our party. My sole reason for joining this effort was in response to a call from conservative groups across the state asking for help with the NCGOP. Our losses last November have many of us rethinking the direction, the purpose and the plan of our party. In spite of a Trump victory, we all know our state is in trouble.
Throughout March and April I was hopeful that you could hear from me at your local conventions, and while I made every effort to be there to speak, it was difficult to do so at every event. As you know we are a big state of 100 counties and only 31 days of March to get those conventions completed. Some conventions met on days with a lot of others at the same times. However, I did attend every district convention in April except for three: District 1, District 3 and District 4, as six convened on the same Saturday! Whether we got to meet, or you heard my speech or from one of my proxies where allowed, I am excited to learn more about you and your vision for our state Party.
