  • Tuesday: Freshmen pickup goodie bags made by their senior from House Archons after school.
  • Wednesday: Twin Day—seniors and freshmen pair up and dress alike! Stop by the photo booth in the History Hall for a picture.
  • Thursday: Enjoy music during passing periods (hosted by House Siena).
  • Friday: Donuts and chocolate milk at the morning social for seniors and freshmen! Also, a Blue Out Pep Rally (for ALL Students)!
  • Saturday: Close out the week at our Welcome Back Dance – “Welcome Back to the 70s”! Enjoy ping pong, spike ball, and plenty of disco vibes as we celebrate the start of a new school year.

Faith and Fellowship for Parents

Senior Parent Rosary

All senior parents are invited to gather at the Our Lady of Victory statue in the circle drive on Friday, August 29, at 7:55 AM, to pray the Rosary together. This is a special opportunity to lift up our seniors, their families, and our community in prayer. We hope you’ll join us!

Black Coffee Brotherhood

Recently, more than 60 fathers and sons came together to re-mulch campus grounds—sharing yard work, coffee, and burgers along the way. The Brotherhood is about more than service projects; it’s about strengthening fathers through prayer and fellowship. Join us in the Nolan Catholic Chapel on Thursday, September 12 at 6:00 AM for Adoration & Scripture, a time to grow together in faith.

Mothers' Mass

All mothers and grandmothers of Nolan Catholic and our diocesan schools' students are warmly invited to the first Mother’s Mass of the year on Thursday, September 26, at 8:15 AM in the Nolan Catholic Chapel. This special gathering is an opportunity to come together in worship and strengthen relationships within our Nolan Catholic and diocesan community. We encourage you to join us in prayer and fellowship.

Friday Adoration Has Begun

Today we joyfully began our Friday Adoration in the Mary, Mother of God Chapel! This beautiful tradition allows our students, faculty, and staff to pause and spend time with Our Lord throughout the school day.

To ensure Adoration continues each Friday, we invite parents to sign up as Parent Adorers. By offering just one hour, you help make this gift of prayer and presence possible for our community.

“Devotion to the Eucharist is the most noble... the sweetest, because the Lord is Sweetness Itself.”

– St. Pope Pius X

Charting the Course: Guidance Counselor Updates

The Guidance Office is excited to share two great opportunities for our students and families:

  • University of Dallas Visit – Representatives from the University of Dallas will be on campus on Tuesday, September 3, to meet with prospective students. Juniors and seniors who are interested should sign up through Naviance.

  • NCHS College Fair – Also on Tuesday, September 3, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, we will host our annual College Fair. With more than 40 colleges in attendance, this is a valuable chance for students and families to explore a wide range of college options and connect directly with admissions representatives. All grade levels are welcome to attend.

Volunteer with the Viking Club

One of the best ways to get involved in our school community is by supporting the Viking Club concession stands! We are asking all parents to commit to working at least two events during the school year. Your support ensures we can open concessions at all on-campus events and maximize the funds raised for our students.

All volunteer opportunities are available through SignUpGenius or via the NCHS App under Viking Club Volunteer Opportunities. Use the arrows next to each event name to view available dates, then click the orange “GO” button to sign up. You may list your student’s name if they plan to help alongside you. (Parents are never expected to volunteer during their own student’s event.)

Please remember that your Safe Environment certification must be current and on file. If you’re unsure of your status, contact Mrs. Rebecca Bosquez or Mrs. Michelle Wessel, or visit virtusonline.com to check your status and view upcoming trainings.

Thank you for helping us make every event a success—we look forward to seeing you at the concession stands!

Save the Date – Mardi Gras Dinner & Auction

Mark your calendars! Nolan Catholic’s Mardi Gras Dinner & Auction will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Hurst Conference Center. This signature event brings our community together for an evening of celebration, fellowship, and support for our students.

We are also excited to announce our event co-chairs: Mrs. Deb Boehmler and Mrs. Jennifer Brissette. Stay tuned for more details in the months ahead!
