Bison pasta passes taste test

The Northern Crops Institute (NCI) recently had a sampling of bison pasta on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. The bison pasta was created by NCI to assist in the promotion of U.S. Durum. De Mari Pasta Dies created and generously donated a die (see upper right hand corner of above photograph) made with the official logo of the North Dakota State University Athletic Department's mascot Bison head. In cooperation with NDSU Food Service, this one-of-a-kind pasta was served to U.S. Durum Growers staff, NCI staff and NDSU Administration.

2016 Wheat Quality Tour Wrap-up

On Thursday, July 28, 2016, we hosted the Wheat Quality Council's Wheat Quality Tour Wrap-up. This year, Executive Vice President Ben Handcock retired after 25 years. Handcock coordinated more than 70 tours, with more than 80,000 miles driven and 2,500 fields checked.

Join us at the AACC International Annual Meeting in October

NCI's technical staff will be at the AACC International Annual Meeting in Savannah, Georgia on October 23 through the 26.
