Highlights
  • Online renewal is available year round!
  • Credits earned in 2020 have been carried over to 2021.

Online Renewal is Available Year Round
Are you aware that you don't have to wait until the end of the year to renew your license(s). Renewal is open and available any time of the year as long as you have completed your required continuing education and have logged the CE into your account.

Carryover CE
In response to COVID-19, the Board allowed up to 10 credits of approved continuing education (6 irrigation and 4 business) to carry over from 2020 to 2021. Many of you have already met, or are close to meeting, the continuing education requirement with carryover alone. You are reminded, CE credits must be reported by the Licensee by logging into your account on the Board website. Should you be selected for the CE audit, the process will be much simpler if you have already uploaded your proof of attendance documents.

*New licensees by way of examination are not required to report CE with their first renewal but are required to renew their license(s).

Approval of Continuing Education
You are reminded that CE must be approved by the CE Committee. Six (6) of the credits must pertain to irrigation, while the other four (4) must be business related. CE that is not yet approved must be submitted through an online application to the CE Committee prior to December 15.

Surety Bonds
Having an up to date surety bond is also part of the renewal process. If your bond is not in good standing this will hold up the renewal of your license AND possibly cause your license to be suspended. Be reminded that when you change or leave a company you are required to either purchase a new bond or have your name added to the new company's bond.
License Cards
For those of you that have already renewed, 2022 license cards and auto decals will be going out in the mail shortly. If you renewed your individual license, but not your corporate license you will not receive your license card until both are renewed. Avoid late fees, renew early!
