This was one of several visits with Sacramento staffers! Thanks to

Chana Ham-Rosebrock, Marca Weinberg, Kate Sachnoff, Sherri Sobel, and Nancy Levy who lobbied for several important state bills! Here they met with Jacqueline Anapolsky, staff member for State Assemblyman Josh Lowenthal, District 69.

This Hulu documentary premiered in 2024. The film explores the life and career of fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg, focusing on her rise to fame, particularly her iconic wrap dress, and her experiences as a woman in a male-dominated industry.

Then join us for our Skirball trip! See below!

Join us on our field trip to the Skirball Cultural Center for a docent-led tour of Diane von Furstenberg: Woman Before Fashion.

The exhibit explores the origins of von Furstenberg’s wrap dress through a selection of garments and sculpture that showcase the inventiveness of the dress and its historical context. We will meet at the AJCC at 10:30 am and depart for the Skirball no later than 10:45 am. We need a minimum of 10 to hold our reservation. There is an $18 admission charge for the docent-led tour, to be paid upon arrival at the Skirball. After the tour, we'll enjoy a group lunch at Zeidler’s Café before departing for Long Beach. Our keynote speaker is NCJW National's Chief Engagement Officer Ellen Buchman, here to tell everyone about NCJW's exciting changes and to answer questions. She will share a vision of us working together at the local, state and national levels to advocate for the creation of meaningful transformations. Be among the first to hear about our future, how we are embracing change, and our transition plans as we evolve into a more dynamic organization.

Our celebration also includes a pre-lunch mingle with friends over a glass of wine on the lovely Club patio, a delicious lunch, live music and an opportunity to win a special door prize!
