NCMA Fall Conference Update
Staying Relevant in a Changing Federal Marketplace
The joint NCMA-Denver Chapter and PilieroMazza conference was a huge success with around 50 attendees showing up to learn more about small business matters and upcoming trends in government contracts. The morning's Small Business Boot Camp provided practical advice and great tips on teaming arrangements to better pursue opportunities, preventing and mitigating performance problems, filing and defending protests, and how to comply with the tricky laws governing payment and benefits for employees.

The afternoon sessions on relevant trends provided insight into upcoming legislation that may impact government contracts, the status of the Section 809 Panel, use of other transactions, as well as an insightful panel from the perspective of mid-size companies. Attendees also benefited from connecting with each other, meeting new friends, and hopefully finding potential business opportunities. For those who attended, we hope you enjoyed the event. A great benefit from participating in NCMA is the ability to stay connected and informed in the ever-changing world of government contracts. We hope to see you at other events this year.
