NCMS President Update

Dear Colleagues,

This letter marks the conclusion of my term as President of NCMS, and it is my pleasure to pass the leadership of the organization to our President-elect Dr. Scott Dhupar. Over the past year, NCMS has experienced a productive and engaging period, highlighted by a variety of successful educational and social events including our annual meeting, book club, summer social, and medical student welcome event. I am particularly proud of the establishment of the nonprofit organization, Jubilee, which represents a meaningful collaboration among NCMS, Dr. Aaron Hoover, law enforcement, and A Courageous Rose, an organization dedicated to supporting victims of sex trafficking. Jubilee was officially established this month, and we are currently in the process of acquiring our first tattoo removal laser. As you may recall, the mission of this nonprofit is to assist victims of sex trafficking and former gang members by helping remove visible reminders of their pasts, such as branding or gang-related tattoos. I extend my sincere gratitude to each of you for your support and the trust you placed in me throughout this past year. I am confident that NCMS will continue to grow and achieve even greater success under Dr. Dhupar’s leadership.

Warm regards,

Narina Grove, MD

Membership Renewal Season!

The practice of medicine is constantly evolving, and the challenges we face—both professionally and personally—are ever-changing. NCMS offers a critical platform for advocacy, education, and community. We strive to provide our members with opportunities to influence key policy decisions, address the issues that impact our profession, and foster a community that supports and uplifts one another.

As we continue to face larger challenges as a non-profit organization, we also need support from the community. Please share our information with your colleagues and encourage physicians to join the CMS and NCMS community. We encourage potential members to attend events and get involved so they can experience the value we offer.
