Promoting and strengthening philanthropic impact in our communities
Message from NCPC Board President, Javier Guerrero

Happy Holidays from the North County Philanthropy Council!
Thank you for your support throughout this year as NCPC continued to connect philanthropic and nonprofit leaders to promote and strengthen philanthropy in our community. This year we witnessed significant connections being made at our Luncheons, Connectors and thru our new Mentorship Program. Our year ended with an incredibly inspiring Volunteer Awards Luncheon where 650 community members celebrated volunteers who make this world a better place. I was proud to be a part of being able to thank and recognize 95 volunteers from every sector of nonprofits.

It has been an absolute honor for me to serve as the NCPC Board President these past two years. Thank you for your participation and moreover your commitment and enthusiasm to help achieve the mission of NCPC.

I'm excited to share that the NCPC Board of Directors has elected Shannon Stubblefield of North County Lifeline as our 2019 Board President. Shannon's passion, intelligence, kindness and vast experience will serve our region well. I look forward to supporting as Past-President, and once again want to thank you for all you do for our community!

NCPC Hiring Admin/Events Assistant
Our current Admin/Events Assistant, Britney, must focus on her studies at Cal State San Marcos; therefore, we are beginning the search for someone to fill her shoes (may be tricky).

This position is responsible for administrative duties including maintaining database (Blackbaud’s Etapestry and Constant Contact), accounting functions (QuickBooks), helping at events and member communications. Must be able to communicate in an articulate manner both verbally and in writing. Proficient knowledge of Excel and Word a must. Highly organized.

This is a semi-remote position, with weekly meetings with Managing Director, monthly events during daytime hours and occasional evening events. Must be local North County San Diego. Part-time: 10 hrs/week.
If you know of anyone who may fit the bill, please have them forward cover letter and resume to Sandra@ncphilanthropy.org
