NCPMA Premier Technician Announces First Class of Graduates
|
During our March 24-25 Premier Technician Courses, we were proud to recognize the first graduates of the NCPMA Premier Technician Program.
Eight professionals completed the program in March and became the program’s first graduating class.
The new Premier Technicians are:
- Christian Beane, Four Seasons Pest Control (Reidsville)
- Jason Choate, Pest Management Systems, Inc. (Greensboro)
- Jason Keough, City Wide Exterminating, Inc. (Locust)
- Wes McBride, Four Seasons Pest Control (Danville, Va.)
- Russ Millhouse, Wheeler Exterminating Company (Kinston)
- Bobby Reynolds, Clint Miller Exterminating Company (Mount Pleasant)
- Ross Rhodes, Wheeler Exterminating Company (Kinston)
- Brandon Tilley, Go-Forth Pest Control (High Point)
“We congratulate each of these individuals on this amazing accomplishment and are thrilled to welcome our new Premier Technicians to the NCPMA family. The graduates began their Premier Technician journey in 2019, and their commitment to their field and the industry is to be commended,” said Marie Horner, Co-Chair of the NCPMA Premier Technician Committee.
The Premier Technician program offers a continuous series of courses to help professionals develop a deeper and clear understanding of pest infestations from discovery to treatment. Individuals who complete the program must have worked in the industry for at least one year and must complete the Wood-boring beetle/Inspection course or have WDIR Accreditation through NCPMA.
“Each of these professionals have shown their dedication and commitment to their industry and to their careers, and we are proud to welcome them as our first Premier Technicians. We are looking forward to welcoming other Premier Technicians to our industry in the coming months,” said Dylan Morrison, Co-Chair of the NCPMA Premier Technician Committee.
In order to maintain the Premier Technician designation, professionals must continue to take at least one, 8-hour course every two (2) years.

Meet the Board: Dylan Morrison, Region Two Director
|
|
|
|
Dylan Morrison enjoys the excitement that the pest management industry brings.
“One of the best things about this industry is that no two days are ever exactly the same. As PMPs we get to go places and see things that the general public never gets to see. For me, some of these places have included cockpits of commercial airliners, news sets for sports tv networks, and one of the most recent ones for me was inside the restoration of a log home built in the mid-1800s,” Dylan said.
His career began in high school when he began helping his neighbor who had just opened City Wide Exterminating in Locust, N.C. He worked weekends trenching homes for termite treatments and stayed with the company through high school and college. He now serves as Service Manager of City Wide Exterminating where he runs the company alongside his wife and brother-in-law.
Dylan has been involved with NCPMA since 2014 and now serves as the Region Two Director. He’s served on the board of directors for three years and has been active on the WDIR, Bylaws and PCT Winter Schools Committees. He is currently serving as Co-Chair of the Premier Technician Program which just graduated its first class of technicians.
“The friendships and knowledge that I have gained from other NCPMA members over the years has been invaluable and has led me not only continue to be involved with the association, but to also help build programs and new opportunities that benefit all members,” he said.
When he’s not working, you’ll find Dylan running, kayaking and spending time with his wife and three kids.
