Celebrating National Pest Management Month

April is National Pest Management Month, and we are taking this opportunity to appreciate each and every one of our members! You do so much for your customers every day, and we applaud you!

In honor of the pest management industry, Gov. Roy Cooper declared April as National Pest Management Month in North Carolina. View the proclamation here or at the Governor's website.

Registration is open for the 2022 Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee!

The Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference boasts outstanding education sessions and fun social events, like our new family picnic! Spend the afternoon with your friends and colleagues enjoying delicious food, a corn hole tournament (for attendees and kids), and fun arts & crafts stations for kids! NPMA Legislative Day

In March, we joined other pest management associations from around the country for NPMA's Annual Legislative Day.

Members of NCPMA's Board of Directors visited with colleagues from across the country for meetings about public policy issues affecting our industry and participated in virtual meetings with some of North Carolina's Congressional delegation and their staff.

NCPMA Contributes to Endowment on Behalf of Members

The North Carolina Pest Management Association recently donated $3,300 to the NCPMA Extension Program Endowment in Honor of Mike Waldvogel as part of North Carolina State University's Day of Giving Campaign.

The donation was comprised of individual donations from NCPMA members.

The NCPMA Extension Program Endowment in Honor of Mike Waldvogel was launched in 2019 to support the ongoing work of North Carolina State University, focusing on supporting positions that directly contribute to the education of the pest management industry. The endowment honors Mike Waldvogel, Ph.D., Extension Associate Professor & Extension Specialist at North Carolina State University’s Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology.
