Brett Pool, the NCPMA Region Four Director, is completing his second year serving on the NCPMA Board of Directors, and he's seen a lot of change in the past two years.
"It's exciting to see how the Association is moving to keep pace with the growth of digital and virtual learning. The past year has definitely been one of challenge and evolution as much of our training and interaction has moved to online platforms and the executive board is striving to be on the forefront of that as it develops," he said.
Brett works at McDuffie Pest Control in Elizabethtown and joined the pest management industry after spending more than 20 years in manufacturing and design at a local sign company.
"My wife, Dana, runs her father's pest control business, McDuffie Pest Control, and I became very interested in the industry. I was fortunate that they found a place for me to become involved with the company, and I cannot think of a better gathering of people than those in the pest control industry," he said.
Brett serves as Chair of the NCPMA Public Relations Committee.
When he's not in the office, you'll find Brett and his wife spending time with their family, working in their yard or tending to their many animals.
