Communication is crucial for military personnel and their families, serving as a lifeline during deployments and separations. Through our programs, Cell Phones For Soldiers (CPFS) is dedicated to providing free communication services to active-duty military members and veterans, offering free talk time and mobile devices to help them stay connected with their loved ones, regardless of their location.
With a mission to support our troops, CPFS has significantly impacted many lives by providing millions of minutes of free talk time and distributing thousands of mobile devices. You can support our cause by collecting unused cell phones and other electronic devices to provide valuable communication resources to our troops and veterans.
Cell Phones for Soldiers Mobile is a program that will provide veterans with a free phone and year of paid phone service. By partnering with an MVNO, we are able to provide an affordable monthly plan to give back to our heroes at home. We want to make it easy to connect with loved ones, seek employment opportunities and contact veteran resources.
Each contribution to Cell Phones For Soldiers provides military members with precious talk time through our Minutes That Matter program, and it gives each qualified veteran a cellular device to assist with employment, contacting loved ones and communicating with veteran resources.
The NCPMA PestVets Unit will be holding a cell phone drive at the Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference. Please bring and drop off any unused cell phones, tablets and MP3 players during Mid-Atlantic. If you will not be attending Mid-Atlantic, you can still participate by collecting these items from your employees, friends and family and someone from our PestVets committee will come to your office to pick them up. Please reach out to Marie Horner at mhorner@arrowexterminators.com to coordinate the pick up.
