They completed the Premier Technician Program Sept. 7-8, 2022.
Premier Technician is a course designed to elevate a pest management professional’s knowledge of the industry through the in-depth study of at least eight key areas including ants, bed bugs, cockroaches, flying insects, occasional invaders/stored product pests, rodents, wood-boring inspection or WDIR Accreditation, and wood-destroying organisms.
The Premier Technician program offers a continuous series of courses to help professionals develop a deeper and clear understanding of pest infestations from discovery to treatment. Individuals who complete the program must have worked in the industry for at least one year and must complete the Wood-boring beetle/Inspection course or have WDIR Accreditation through NCPMA.
In order to maintain the Premier Technician designation, professionals must continue to take at least one, 8-hour course every two (2) years.

NCPMA will offer four Virtual Fall Workshops on Sept. 28.
We are pleased to offer our Fall Workshop remotely this year. You can earn 2 credits by attending a two-hour session; the same 2-hour session will be offered twice. Viewing the class more than once will not provide more than 2 credits.

No exceptions can be made to these policies as they are determined by individual states.
- Each individual must be able to view on their own device and must use the specific link provided by email; no device sharing.
- Using the same email for multiple attendees is not permitted.
- Calling in on the phone is not sufficient; attendees must watch the webinar live in its entirety and answer poll questions during to receive credit.
- Attendees must be present for the entirety of the session and answer all poll question following the presentation to receive credit.

The Purpose of the North Carolina Pest Management Education Committee is to gather information and maintain a list of speakers and presenters that would be willing to speak at our meetings throughout the year.
As a committee member, you will be able to use your industry contacts and experiences to recommend speakers that will bring quality presentations to the largest pest management schools and events in the U.S.
Our goals for next year are to add several members to our team, and be able to have a solid list of presenters in the wings for future events.
