2019: A Big Year for NCPMA

It is hard to believe that 2019 is almost at a close! As we look back on the previous year, we want to recognize some of the things that made 2019 such a huge year for NCPMA!

We wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and a great start to 2020! We look forward to seeing everyone at our 2020 PCT School in January.

PCT School
We held the 69th Annual Pest Control Technician's (PCT) School in January which was our largest event yet with more than 1,000 attendees. We are excited for the 70th Annual PCT School which will be held Jan. 26-30, 2020.

NCPMA Leadership
We welcomed our new board of directors and executive committee and our new Executive Director, Ashley Amidon, in July. A big thank you to our previous board of directors and executive director, Andy Architect, for all of their hard work!

Premier Technician Program
We kicked off the Premier Technician Program, which is designed to provide in-depth, intensive training for pest management professionals who strive to be experts in their industry.  The Premier Technician program offers a continuous series of eight themed courses. Information is available on our website.

Endowment
We launched the NCPMA Extension Program Endowment in Honor of Mike Waldvogel to  support the ongoing work of NCSU, focusing on supporting positions that directly contribute to the education of our industry.

magician_card_coat.jpg
We have exciting changes coming to our Casino Night for the 2020 PCT School.

The event will be held Monday Jan. 27, 2020.

This year our plans are to make it even better! It will be in a larger room, and we are  changing how prizes will be awarded.
  • All prizes will be on display with a bucket next to each donated prize.
  • For every $500 in chips a person has at the conclusion of the games they will receive a raffle ticket that they can place in any bucket they choose. The more chips they have, the more chances they have to win something, but everyone with at least $500 in chips will still have a chance to win.
Don't miss this great kick-off to the PCT School! Register today.
