Legislative Committee Update
NCPMA Legislative Days
NCPMA Members Visit the General Assembly.
NCPMA Members Visit the General Assembly
NCPMA hosted events at the N.C. General Assembly designed to bring awareness to legislative issues and reach out to our elected officials June 8-9. We had a great legislative day breakfast with good turnout from our members and elected officials and some great meetings with our state representatives and senators.

Sales Tax Bill
The North Carolina General Assembly is considering applying a sales tax to all services conducted by the pest management industry. Currently, the Senate bill has our services taxed and the House bill does not have our services taxed. They are working in Conference to negotiate a final bill.

We continue to work with our lobbyist to encourage the legislators to remove the service tax from the final bill.

Be a part of this conversation! Contact your senators and representatives today to urge them to vote against this sales tax.
