Golf Tournament Registration Open 
2018 Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference

The 2018 Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference will be held July 26-28 in Wrightsville Beach, N.C. 

We are still accepting registration for the  Golf Tournament at the Country Club of Landfall on Thursday, July 26. Check in begins at 7:30 a.m., and the tournament starts with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

And, don't miss any of the 2018 Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference. In addition to great speakers and sessions, we'll have networking opportunities and a variety of social functions, including a Beach Bash and a BBQ by the pool!

Meet the Board
John Adkins
At-Large Director

John Adkins currently serves as an At-Large Director for NCPMA.  For 20 years he has been the owner of Four Seasons Pest Control which has offices in Reidsville and Danville, VA. 

John joined NCPMA 14 years ago and has served on the association's Board of Directors for four years where he's served as a Presidential Appointee and an At-Large Director. He's also served on committees for the Pest Control Technician's School, Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference and Technician of the Year.

He entered the pest management industry 20 years ago when a friend announced his retirement from pest management.

"It sparked my interest. I enjoy being outside, around people and solving problems so that fit well.  I have always believed in giving great customer service in any job that I had, and the Pest Management field is an area that if you do a great job for your customers, not only do you get repeat business but you get great referrals.  It was a perfect fit for my personality," he said.

When he's not working, you'll find John outside with his teenaged sons. As a Scout Master for his son's Boy Scouts troop, he's likely to be camping, hiking, kayaking or biking.  He also enjoys golf and traveling.

Winners of the 2017 NCPMA Technician of the Year Awards

Do you know a great pest technician? 

It might be someone who goes above and beyond to help his or her customers with their pest problems? 

Or, it might be someone who takes the extra effort to train and mentor other pest technicians.

Or, it might be someone who always takes the extra training opportunities and tries to become better at his or her job.

If so, nominate him or her for the 2018 NCPMA Technician of the Year. We are now accepting nominations for technicians in both the P-Phase and W-Phase and will award one award to a winner in each category at our 2019 PCT School in January.
