Sarah Dodd of Carolina Pest Management, Inc. is currently serving her first term on the NCPMA Board of Directors as an At-Large Director. She is chairperson for the Technician of the Year committee and is a committee member for the N.C. Professional Women in Pest Management committee.
Pest management has always been a part of Sarah's life. She joined her family's business, Carolina Pest Management, Inc., after graduating from college in 2001 and enjoys seeing how pest management helps people every day.
NCPMA has been a key part of Sarah's pest management career, and she recommends that new technicians join the association to help expand their own career.
"
I would tell a new PMP to join the association and to utilize all the resources it offers. The meetings and conferences are a great way to meet other members for more personal advice. And, maybe try to get a mentor through the association," she said.
Sarah loves to travel and tries to visit a new country or island each year. As an animal lover, she also assists at animal rescues.
