Committee Spotlight
Nominating Committee

Members of the Past President's Council work together as the Nominating Committee. The Committee meets annually to review and nominate leaders to serve on the board of directors for the coming year. The Nominating Committee then presents a slate of officers to the Board of Directors for approval.

The Nominating Committee is chaired by Chuck Hazelwood of Go-Forth Pest and Lawn in High Point.

Chase Hazelwood
At Large Director

Chase Hazelwood has been involved in the pest management industry his entire life.  A third-generation pest professional, Chase grew up helping his father and grandfather in every aspect of the family business, Go-Forth Pest & Lawn based in High Point.

Chase has been an active member of NCPMA for 10 years and currently serves as an At-Large Director and Co-Chair of the Public Relations Committee.  

In his spare time, Chase can be found watching professional soccer, playing in a backyard soccer game with his children or cheering on the Carolina Panthers.
Meet the Board
Don Grant
At Large Director

Like many others, Don Grant grew up in the pest management industry watching his father run the family business.   He currently operates Grant Exterminating in Gastonia.

Don enjoys helping people with their pest problems and remembers once rescuing a flying squirrel from a client's home.  "It turned out to be a flying squirrel that I thought would be something unusual to take home and show my kids, much to my wife's dismay," he said.  Don laughs as he recalls how the squirrel later escaped its cage and wound up in his bedroom.

Don enjoys playing guitar, collecting music and DJ'ing in his spare time.  He's also been a craft brewer and wine maker for nearly 40 years.
