Meet the Board: Sarah Dodd
At-Large Director

After attending NCPMA meetings as a child, it's no surprise that Sarah Dodd's now serving her third term on the NCPMA Board of Directors.

Sarah is a fourth-generation pest management professional who works at Carolina Pest Management, a company founded by her great-grandfather in 1939.

"I grew up in the industry and helping out in the office after school so it was a natural progression for me to come work for my family after graduating from college," she said.

Sarah's been active in NCPMA since 2001 and has served in numerous positions with the association. She currently serves as an At-Large Board Member, Committee Chair of the Technician of the Year Committee and member of the Administrative Professional of the Year Award Committee and the Public Relations Committee.

She enjoys the collaborative nature of NCPMA.

"There are an endless amount of resources for members of NCPMA to use to learn and grow, from information on the website to talking to other members of the industry to get help or advice," she said. "I've never met another group of competitors that are so willing to help each other out."

Sarah lives in Matthews and enjoys traveling, advocating for homeless animals and animal shelters and has recently started a home garden.
