2014 Mid-Atlantic Conference Was a Success!
Last week in conjunction with the South Carolina Pest Management Association and Virginia Pest Management Association, the 2014 Mid-Atlantic Conference was a success! There was a great turn out of members and vendors.
The conference included educational sessions, networking opportunities, exhibitors and a family-friendly environment in Wrightsville Beach, NC. It was held at the lovely Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort.

On behalf of the North Carolina Pest Management Association, thank you to all of those who attended. We look forward to another successful Mid-Atlantic Conference next year!

Technician of The Year Award Deadline Extended Until August 15! Submit Your Nominee Today!
There is still time to submit your nominee for tech of the year! The deadline as been extended until Friday, August 15. The NCPMA Technician of the Year Award is designed to recognize an individual who exemplifies those qualities that best define an outstanding service technician in the pest management industry of North Carolina.
Contest Criteria and Rules:
- Must have two years of experience in his/her phase
- Technician must work at least 80% of the time in the field
- Must be recommended by company owner, manager or supervisor
- Two Phases from which to choose: Pest Control and WDO
- Each winner receives a $250 Gift Card, one free PCT School registration with one night hotel room and a plaque
- Winners recognized at the next PCT School at the Opening Session
- Must be a member of the North Carolina Pest Management Association

NPMA Women of Excellence Award: Call For Nominations
NPMA's Women of Excellence Award recognizes women who advance the pest management industry every day, in every way. The international honor is open to women across the pest management industry - PMP's, manufacturers, research organizations, etc. - who demonstrate outstanding leadership and have made notable contributions to the development and growth of the profession, their business, and other women in the industry.
An independent judges' panel will select one award recipient who will be recognized at PestWorld 2014, October 21-24 in Orlando, Fla.
