"Well, if you haven’t heard, it turned out to be a cut/demoed cable. Roberto pulled a new cable. He had trouble getting it to pass green, but he got that done, too. We’re back up and running on the 1.3 WIFI. Please hand out Praises, Kudos, Rewards, Bonuses, etc. to Roberto and his crew. They did a great job getting this done on time, without error, and with adjustments."

Live Well, Work Well

The Health Benefits of Camping

High cholesterol usually has no symptoms, so the American Heart Association (AHA) recommends that adults age 20 or older have their cholesterol checked every four to six years. Bad cholesterol can be elevated by age, family history, certain health conditions (e.g., Type 2 diabetes and obesity) and lifestyle factors.

Live Well, Work Well

Are You Prepped for a Disaster?

Disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and earthquakes can strike with little or no warning. September is National Preparedness Month, making it a good time for you and your household to make a plan if you need to evacuate your home or get trapped inside for days.

“I hope you have had a great week. I wanted to start by thanking you for the incredible work this past week. Patrick, Chance, Steven, and Dallas did an outstanding job and were super easy to work with."

What is Critical Illness Insurance, and how can it help you?

While your primary health insurance may cover some of the costs of your treatment, it likely has things like copays or deductibles that you pay for out of pocket. Then there are the expenses that don’t go away just because you’re ill: mortgage and car payments, childcare, tuition, utility bills — the list goes on. That’s where Critical Illness Insurance can be helpful.

Project and Site Photos Request

We Need Your Help!

NCS wants to share your project and site photos on our website, newsletter, and social media channels!

What are we looking for?

  • Project interior shots of installed cable racks, cabling, AV equipment, and security solutions and complete areas within the facility, including conference rooms, the lobby, the IT room, etc., with our solutions.
  • Project exterior shots of the facility, employees installing cameras on the exterior of the building, etc.

Note: Ensure the client has approved taking photos of the facility. When capturing photos of employees installing our solutions, it's crucial that all safety equipment is worn correctly, and the site shows a safe environment. This not only ensures the safety of our employees but also reflects our commitment to safety in our work.

We will choose a "Photo of the Month," and the winner will receive a $50 gift card.

"Thank You very much to Fernando, Adrian & Gilbert. You guys, as always, are awesome, EXCELLENT WORK! Your guys always go the “EXTRA MILE,” not once but multiple times at our sites for us! Your guys under the trenches often don’t get noticed, so I wanted to take the time to send something. I cannot say enough about the work ethic and integrity needed to ensure any job you work on gets the full attention it deserves (prioritizing). In addition, you have spent many hours over and above (overtime) the call of duty these past few days to make sure the four-plex, Permit BRB, etc., have connectivity capable for our CBO employees & contractors alike in these buildings for the entire months to come! This week would not have been possible without Adrian & Gilbert Guerrero’s hard work and dedication to the CBO Team! Thank Adrian & Gilbert Guerrero."

"I want to recognize Tyqueshia Smith, Project Admin Dallas, for being dedicated to completing submittals for one of my AV projects in short order. I was told by the customer that they needed the submittals ASAP on Wednesday, so I gave Ty a deadline of Friday. Ty stayed until 7 pm Wednesday night working on them and had them completed Thursday morning for me. The submittal package is 193 pages with over 100 unique pieces of equipment. Although I didn’t ask her to stay late, I appreciated her willingness to complete the job on a tight schedule."

"Great work! Explorer Pipeline does not use our network. They have their own internet provider, but the company is inside the refinery property. They wanted us to troubleshoot the problem, but instead, I told Omar to contact NCS, the fiber experts—our hometown network cabling heroes. Omar, contact me after the fix and thank everyone involved in the quick repair. Again, Great job by your team Robert."

When I know he's on a problem, it will get resolved correctly and in a timely manner. I wanted to reach out and extend my gratitude to this employee."

"Jason stayed late and really helped us out this evening. We had a safety incident that needed an immediate response, and Jason Martin delivered, as always, no matter what time we asked. I can't say enough great things about Jason Martin. Once we get this $500,000 camera project quoted and the $100,000 ~25+ dock door access control project quoted, I'd only consider NCS if Jason was our primary contact. He understands our cameras and access control better than anyone. I'd prefer him to be present on all present, future, and proposed Ravago business with NCS. "

Jeremy Savage, our DFW Branch Manager. He has been nothing but great in his role and is always there to support us and keep us moving forward in the right direction. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves sometimes.

Kim Walls, my Project Administrator, is always there for us at the DFW office and is always willing to help. With her time here at NCS, she can share her knowledge and teach us the NCS way. She is truly an amazing person!"
