Naughty N'awlins Raises $25,550 for NCSF!

Naughty Events held a Silent Auction during their Naughty N'awlins conference on July 6-9, 2023, and raised $25,550 for NCSF by auctioning off fabulous prizes that were donated by Lifestyle industry greats. This is the largest fundraiser in NCSF's history!
Inspired by the palpable love of the community, Harry Lange, owner of Hedonism II generously matched every winning bid, donating $12,525 to NCSF to bring the grand total to $25,550. “I am proud to support the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. We believe in a world where all consenting adults have the right to express their sexuality freely. We’re not just creating a pleasurable resort experience, we’re fostering a community where love, respect, and freedom are celebrated in all their beautiful forms,” said Harry Lange, Owner of Hedonism II.

NCSF would like to thank the following organizations for donating prizes:
"We are very proud of the successful fundraising effort between Naughty Events and all the donors who participated. As a long-time supporting Coalition Partner, former board member, and someone who believes in NCSF's mission, we will continue to support their organization and their work. There is no better way to support sexual freedom than with your pocketbook, and we are honored to be able to move the needle forward, knowing that these funds will go directly to programs that will advance sexual freedom in our country." said Bob Hannaford, CEO of Naughty Events.
"Thanks to Coalition Partners like Bob and Tess with Naughty Events, and generous donors like Harry and Hedonism II who are willing to stand together, NCSF can continue the fight for adults to have the right to live the way they choose without the fear of discrimination, and gather at our events without the fear of reprisals," says Tess Zachary, NCSF Chairperson.

Vi Johnson Liberation Award
|
|
NCSF named Bianca Laureano as our first recipient of the Vi Johnson Liberation Award. NCSF's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee awarded Bianca due to the breadth, depth, and varied ways that she has challenged the injustices and inequalities in sexuality education, presentation, accessibility, and services. For two decades, Bianca has been a scholar, researcher, activist, and leader globally. Her creativity and innovation as a liberator have forever changed the landscape.
The Vi Johnson Liberation Award intentionally honors and celebrates the contributions of Black, Indigenous People of Color and the LGBTQ community. NCSF's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee is dedicated to honoring, celebrating, and amplifying these voices.

"I really hope to see the swinger lifestyle following suit with the kink/poly lifestyles. I think merging all communities together is something we will be seeing in the future. I believe if changes don’t start being made my generation, the younger generation will reject the community and find themselves in more progressive communities with more of a willingness to grow and change with our rapidly changing world. I would love to see all the alternative sex communities merge together to create positive spaces together. I think we all have so much to learn from each other. I would also like to see consent play a much larger role within the swinger lifestyle. I would love to see spaces where more people feel safe and are more educated on consent."
