WELCOME FROM REGION II CHAIR

Hi All!

How’s everyone doing? I know on my side of things we’re dealing with a list of terminations as well as some confusing guidance (Is this foreign subaward OK? What is the IDC rate we should be using? And on and on...)

I am happy to say we did resolve one big question earlier this spring, and that is that we will be holding our 2025 Regional Meeting virtually. This will allow more folks in the region to come together and will offer a more affordable option to those institutions that are facing budget cuts and financial uncertainty. Read more about the meeting below! We hope you can participate by attending, presenting a session, volunteering, and more! Please reach out if you’d like to help.

We’re also gearing up for the 67th NCURA Annual Meeting, to be held in Washington, DC, Aug. 10-13. If you’re going to the meeting, please stop by and say hello at our hospitality suite, game night, or Regional Connection table! There will be volunteer opportunities at the Annual Meeting, so keep an eye out for an email from Rebecca O’Brien. We look forward to seeing you there!
