Summer Session Ends August 10
The end is approaching! Classes end next Friday on August 10. Be sure to check today's final progress report to see how your students are progressing. Final grades will be posted on August 16.

Also, see our End of Semester Tips and Reminders web page for all the details on how to successfully close out your NCVPS semester.
Summer Course Extensions
Instructional directors started granting extensions on August 8th. If large portions of the course are missing, an extension won't help the student.

Extensions will only be granted for two weeks. Please review our Course Extensions Reference Guide for full details on the process.

If course extensions are only needed for one to two days for technology issues, illness, and similar reasons at the close of a semester, the school ELA should make that request directly with the NCVPS teacher. A course extension is not needed for a short requests like this.
Early Start Courses Begin Aug. 13
Our Early Start classes begin on Monday, August 13.

If your students are unable to start on that date, please email their NCVPS instructors. Our instructors are prepared for students to begin on different dates, but it helps them tremendously if they know when the students will begin.

Thank you!
Workforce Ready Open Enrollment
Our new Workforce Ready elective course is now posted in the registration system and open for enrollment.

Workforce Ready is an elective course that prepares students for future employment. We are excited to roll out this course!
Registration Updates
Graduated Students in the Registration System
You should no longer see graduated students on your enrollment screen. However, if you click on the Students tab, you should still see those students for historical purposes.

If you see graduated students on your enrollment screen when selecting students to enroll in a course, please open a help desk ticket with us and include a few student Powerschool ID numbers that should not be showing, and we can troubleshoot this for
you.

PowerSchool Sync
Our PowerSchool EOY sync is complete. You should see your updated rosters now.

Student Data
You will also see some programming updates in the registration system. OCS, IEP, and 504 are now mandatory fields for enrollment along with contact information. We would also like to collect AIG, LEP, and ESL data, too, but those fields are not mandatory. However, more data we have on the student, the better our teachers can support the student and personalize his or her learning.

Course Updates and Alerts

We have a Course Updates and Alerts web page that shows all of our course catalog updates for 2018-2019. See new additions to the catalog and courses that have been discontinued or have been pulled for revisions.
