The cabana is one of the structures that has been enclosed for work to continue over the winter. Inside of this enclosure, our masons are working their magic on an outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, wood burning fireplace, and something a little different for the patio - pavers that were wet cast with a wood grain to give the appearance of a wooden deck around the pool.
The outdoor kitchen, at the end furthest from the pool house, is in a U shape. Each leg is 12 ft. long and 4 ft. wide, while the base is 15 ft. long and 4 ft. wide. There are two refrigerators; one on each side of the U as well as storage on one side. There is a grill and side burner on the base of the U. Off to one side and jutting out slightly is a wood fired pizza oven. At the end closest to the pool house, there is a wood burning see thru-fireplace.
Two large televisions will find homes in the cabana. One will be positioned over the fireplace, and one at the opposite end, so those using the kitchen won't miss a single play of the big game or one minute of the movie. Outdoor furniture will be arranged to enjoy both the fireplace and television. When the enclosure is taken down, a pergola connecting the pool house and the cabana will be added.
Stay tuned next month for our next edition of Working in a Winter Wonderland!
