Water features round out the design of this pool. There are two separate features included in this project: the first is a natural waterfall built into the existing hillside that then spills into the pool to help circulate pool water.
A flowing river is the second water feature. This river is oriented so that it appears to flow down from the surrounding slope and empty into the pool, though it is isolated from the pool and does not use pool water.
The river bed is composed of large boulders and flat stones, creating fluid, organic waterfalls. This man-made river will flow into a 15 x 15 ft. pool, which meets the edge of the main pool. When completed, the two combined will give the appearance of a single flow of water coming down the hill and spilling into the pool.
Once the hardscaping is finished and the weather has warmed, new plant material will be going into the planting beds and containers to finish off this amazing project. Keep up with us on social media and in our newsletters for updates on this project as work nears completion.
